Noa Maccabi, A Girl On The Road

Noa Maccabi was born in 1989, she lives and works in Israel.

"Girl On The Road" is an ongoing series of self portraits.

Noa takes photos in different landscapes, different countries, different weather, always from the back and creates unsettling, surreal images that play with the viewer's unconscious.

In her non-portraits, the artist is interested in relating his human body, lying inert, with the landscape. She sets her self-portraits in quiet and peaceful places, eliminating the conventional standards in favor of minimalist plasticity.
